Vineyards

We source our fruit from a variety of high quality vineyards. Grapes are selected based on terror, grower skill, and potential to make great wine.  Our wine-making techniques are meant to bring out the very best of the diverse choices in the Columbia Valley AVA.

Echo West Ranch & Vineyard - Columbia Valley AVA

Is located in Oregon’s Columbia Valley AVA, Echo, Oregon. Its wind swept and sunny Southeast slopes perch on the bluff overlooking the Umatilla River. The steep terrain at 850-foot elevation with deep volcanic ash makes a unique terroir for growing hardy, full-flavored grapes.

Elerding Canyon Vineyard - Yakima Valley AVA

This vineyard is just Southwest of Prosser in Washington State. These vines are cropped to about 2.5 tons per acre which intensifies the flavors and complexity of the wines we make using these grapes.

Elerding 6 Prong Vineyard - Horse Heaven Hills AVA

This highly sought after old vine vineyard sits next to the Columbia River Gorge with its moderating winds, warm days and cool nights; it provides an ideal location for growing many grape varietals. Many of the varieties in the Elerding vineyards are among the oldest vines of their type in the State.

Golden Ridge Vineyard- Walla Walla Valley AVA

The Golden Ridge estate vineyard is known for growing quality grapes, with a location that has a unique microclimate due to elevation, slope, sun orientation and close proximity to the Blue Mountains.  Elevation ranges from 1260 feet to 1350 above sea level, with a south-facing slope which maximizes soil drainage and sun exposure for the ripening grape clusters. The proximity to the Blue Mountains creates a rapid temperature drop at night of between 25-40 degrees from the daytime highs, which results in incredible flavor, dark color, and excellent acid retention in the grapes.

Kolibri Vineyard- Yakima Valley AVA

The Kolibri Vineyard is located in the Rattlesnake Hills (elev. 1180 ft.) overlooking the Columbia River Valley in South Central Washington State. The vineyard is a small, unique, energetic, and beautifully managed to deliver the highest quality fruit.

Les Collines Vineyard - Walla Walla Valley AVA

Les Collines (The Foothills) is one of the higher vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley with an upper elevation of 1,380 feet. Soil Moisture and weather data is recorded around the clock. This 240 acre vineyard is one of the valley leaders in minimal input farming with its own composting operation and extensive use of compost tea.

Owen Roe Union Gap Vineyard - Yakima Valley AVA

The steep slopes of the Union Gap Estate are between 15% – 30% and consist of gravelly loam. Many blocks face west and receive lengthy exposure to the hottest sun of the day. These conditions guarantee full ripening, intense concentration from small berries, and beautiful balance from the great location of the vineyard.

Seven Hills Vineyard - Walla Walla Valley AVA

Seven Hills is one of the first commercial vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley AVA. With an elevation of 850 to 1,050 feet, the site has excellent soil and air drainage and is one of the most technologically advanced in the industry. The vertically trained canopy, controlled cluster spacing and sunlight exposure generates uniform fruit ripeness. Soil moisture is monitored daily by computer with sophisticated drip irrigation scheduled to augment vine development yet limit excessive canopy growth. Yields are strictly controlled to assure ultra-premium quality.
